Dan Wright

Daniel Wright has designed a range of ceramics for the Retreats group based on the Architecture and landscape of the stunning St Davids peninsula in which he now lives and exhibits. Daniel is inspired by the drawings of Eric Ravilious and the ceramics of the Italian designer Piero Fornasetti. He enjoys both working with clay and drawing and painting.He produces hand thrown Earthenware covered in white slip and hand drawn transfers screen printed in black enamel. Daniel work relates to either function of the object or the locality of the area. He likes to combine traditional and modern techniques in a contemporary way.
