We are looking for experienced Chefs to join the team as a Chef de Partie, mainly based in Twr y Felin Hotel, although there may be occasions when you need to support at our sister properties.

Your duties will be:

  • To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
  • To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required.
  • To control stock levels, and ensure that all food to is used appropriately at all times.
  • You will be expected to help support and develop the team and to help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes
  • You should be able to liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.

The salary for this position is £21,000, however this is negotiable dependant on experience.

Kitchen Porter

We are currently recruiting for Kitchen Porters to join our Kitchen based at Twr Y Felin Hotel in St Davids. Taking instructions form the Head Chef, you will take a hands on approach to help support them in the preparation of the incoming orders whilst ensuring a clean and organised environment for the chefs to work in.

Main Duties

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Clean all equipment to exceptional standards
  • Help maintain strict health and safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Assist with any incoming deliveries and assist the stock rotation of storage units where required
  • You may be required to assist at our sister hotels, Penrhiw and Roch Castle on occasions

We are recruiting Housekeeping Assistants based mainly at Twr y Felin Hotel, however you will be expected to assist in Penrhiw Priory and Roch Castle when required. Duties include to clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas to the company standards. You will need to ensure all public areas are clean and welcoming to guests at all times and to fulfil all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety. You will need to work at an efficient pace to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to their arrival. And communicate with the relevant Line Manager rooms have been completed.

The successful applicant must have experience of working in a busy restaurant. Supervisor experience would be an advantage, but not essential as this position would suit someone with the relevant knowledge and experience looking to move in to their first supervisory position.

  • Work with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure service is constantly delivered to a high standard
  • Assist with Rotas
  • Assist with stock ordering and rotation
  • To work with the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Manager to train all the team
  • To run the daily operation of the restaurant floor
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, wherever possible, in order to deliver exceptional quality of service and, in turn, guest satisfaction

We are expanding our team at the 2 Rosette Blas Restatrant in Twr y Felin.

You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of breakfast service for the guests at Twr y Felin. The successful applicant must be able to work using their own initiatives and be self motivated.

The main duties will be:

To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
